Work gets done fast without cutting corners, and Luis's team stays in touch at every step. Customers consistently report finishing jobs within days, reasonable prices that reflect solid outcomes, and a crew that shows up prepared and friendly. Few contractors in the area earn five-star reviews across 18 jobs without a single complaint.
Fitzpatrick's Painting shows a stark split between reviews. One praise from five years ago calls the work exceptional and notes difficulty booking. A recent one-star review describes an awful experience with no specifics. The thin evidence base makes it hard to assess current reliability.

Limited review evidence. One complaint concerns employee relations; others are absent or unclear. The business lists plating and finishing services on its website but review detail is sparse.
Seven years of consistent five-star reviews place Aldeson at the top of Waterbury's interior painters. Reviewers credit speed, cleanliness, and reliability-one repeat client spans five years without looking elsewhere. BestWay Painting delivers consistent, detail-oriented work across interior and exterior projects. Reviewers highlight the crew's professionalism, timeliness, and respect for the home; Ivan personally manages jobs and responds quickly to inquiries. The company shows up on schedule, cleans thoroughly before leaving, and handles damage repair (water, ice dams, drywall) with care.
Reviewers consistently encounter a masonry specialist who answers calls quickly, arrives on schedule, and finishes jobs to a high standard. Arnold himself often responds to inquiries and provides estimates within 24 hours. His team handles stone steps, patios, brick repair, handrails, and tile work with visible care for the property and surrounding areas, leaving sites clean after completion. Many customers mention choosing Arnold after other contractors ghosted or seemed disinterested; his willingness to work within tight budgets and his hands-on approach set him apart. Families and homeowners in the Waterbury and New Haven areas report feeling like they hired a qualified friend rather than a contractor.
Across 95 reviews, all five stars, customers describe an unusually responsive and detail-focused operation. Vince answers calls and texts the same day or within the hour, provides quotes quickly, and completes jobs ahead of estimates. His crew (Tony, Edwin, Javier, Nicholas) work efficiently while protecting homes, leaving spaces clean at day's end, and triple-checking surfaces. The business manages both residential interior and exterior projects, commercial spaces, deck refinishing, cabinet painting, and wallpaper removal. Customers value his willingness to coordinate contractors (countertops, flooring, backsplash) and his honest assessment of scope upfront. Pricing is consistently described as fair for the quality delivered.
Frank and Leonard deliver consistently strong cabinet work across Waterbury, Bridgeport, West Hartford, and Middlebury. Reviewers praise fast response times, fair pricing, clean finish, and reliable same-week turnaround-with no complaints documented across nearly 30 reviews.
George and crew handle chimney work, masonry, and general home repair across Waterbury. Most jobs happen quickly at reasonable rates with clean results. A small group of older reviews flag scheduling lapses and one incomplete chimney repair, though recent reviews are consistently strong.
Frank and his HIRA crew handle roofing, gutters, and repairs with consistent professionalism. Reviewers consistently report fast turnaround, daily photo updates, thorough explanations of the work, and cleanup done by day's end. The owner personally follows up on projects, manages expectations honestly, and often solves problems beyond the original scope-helping with tree removal contacts, emergency water damage, mold treatment, and post-project touch-ups. Across 70 five-star reviews, the repeated theme is that Frank treats customers like family rather than transactions. Pricing appears fair for the quality delivered; one reviewer noted "affordable price," another got a quote matching their estimate exactly. Most jobs (roof replacement, gutters, storm repairs) complete in one to three days. The service area spans eight towns in northwest Connecticut. No complaints appear in the review record.
