McIntosh Painting earns near-perfect reviews for inside and outside work, with customers consistently noting the owner's personal attention, clean job sites, and respectful handling of tricky tasks like wallpaper removal. Families moving into new homes and homeowners tackling whole-house projects report smooth communication and work completed without cutting corners.
Two recent reviews praise Russ for fast responses, clean work around trim, and reasonable rates. An older complaint flagged months of silence after an estimate and a referral that went nowhere, leaving a job undone.
Both reviewers praise Renaissance for polished interior work and careful surface prep. One customer's white cabinet refinish held its finish six years later; another valued their whole-home repaint, noting the crew completes prep work other painters skip.
Mixed reviews spanning years show sharp divides: some praise deck work and pricing, but multiple complaints describe poor prep (dirt embedded in paint, unsanded boards), damaged property (siding gouged, chimney destroyed), staff disrespect, and refusal to fix mistakes. Limited evidence given the split.
