Steve Zeisler's Painting

4.3(21)✓ Google-verified

Steve Zeisler's Painting has built a strong reputation over more than three decades for exterior and interior work in Fairfield County. Most reviewers praise responsive service, professional crews who show up daily, thorough preparation, and fair pricing. However, older reviews surface concerns about inconsistent worker quality and a serious incident involving roof damage and sanding gouges that led to a lien dispute; these issues appear concentrated in past years but warrant awareness before hiring.

Dero's earns high marks for on-time completion, quality finishes on both painting and hardwood floors, and a courteous team that communicates throughout the job. One significant dispute emerged around improper surface prep, spray-painting when hand-painting was contracted, deck repair failure, and unresponsiveness to repeated contact and a claimed overpayment.

4.6(11)✓ Google-verified

Ten reviewers praise Junior and his crew for polished interior and exterior work, cabinet refinishing, and epoxy floors, with strong communication and careful cleanup throughout projects. One recent complaint reports kitchen epoxy peeling at four months and unanswered calls for repair, which contrasts sharply with the team's otherwise solid reputation for detail and responsiveness.
