Best painters in New London

★★★★★5 (29 reviews)score 77/100

A perfect 5.0 across 29 reviews, with recent activity, puts this auto painting shop at the top. Reviewers keep coming back to color matching, fair prices and quick turnaround on accident repairs. Confidence is still low because the sample is modest and the business has no verification credit.

• Precise paint color matching
• Fair pricing on complex repairs
• Fast turnaround on accident claims
• Takes on specialty vehicles and custom work

Watch out: Vehicle work only, so not the pick for house painting.

Services: interior painting, exterior painting, licensed insured, cabinet refinishing

★★★★★4.8 (37 reviews)score 76/100

This is a paint and supply retailer, not a contractor, with 4.8 from 37 reviews. Most people describe knowledgeable, welcoming staff and a wide selection, and DIYers get useful guidance. Specialty brushes such as Corona are a draw.

• Knowledgeable staff
• Wide range of paint and supplies
• Helpful guidance for DIYers
• Local business with specialty brush brands

Watch out: One reviewer reported dismissive treatment and being steered to an unsuitable product.

★★★★★5 (23 reviews)score 75/100

All 23 reviews are five stars, and they point to clean trim work, on-time scheduling and thorough cleanup. Repeat clients and a job over the line in Westerly, RI suggest the crew holds up over time. Interior, exterior and epoxy work are all covered.

• Precise trim and detail work
• Finishes on or ahead of schedule
• Full cleanup after each job
• Competitive pricing across services

Watch out: No verification credit, so confirm licensing and insurance yourself.

★★★★★5 (2 reviews)score 68/100

Both reviews are five stars and mention speed, responsiveness and fair pricing. With only two reviews, this is thin evidence and the services performed are not specified. Treat it as a lead worth a call, not a proven record.

• Responsive to questions
• Fast turnaround

Watch out: Only two reviews, with no detail on the type of work.

Services: interior painting, exterior painting, commercial painting

★★★★★5 (6 reviews)score 59/100

Six five-star reviews credit Bobby and his team with careful color choices, quality materials and flexibility when plans change. Specialty jobs like window glazing, fireplace finishing and wood refinishing come up, as do fixes to other contractors' mistakes. The reviews are not recent, and the sample is small.

• Handles mid-project changes
• Fixes other contractors' mistakes

Watch out: Small sample and no recent reviews.

★★★★☆3.8 (16 reviews)score 51/100

• Competitive local pricing
• Interior painting praised by repeat clients
• Moving and handyman jobs under one roof
• Friendly, efficient crew

Watch out: Several reviewers report no-shows, unanswered calls and unmet commitments.

★★★★★5 (3 reviews)score 48/100

Three five-star reviews give a good first impression, but there is too little recent feedback to judge consistency. Sentiment is rated mixed only because the data is thin. Get a written quote and ask for references.

• 5.0 rating from 3 reviews
• Painting is the core business

Watch out: Very few reviews and none recent.

Services: interior painting, exterior painting, commercial painting

score 21/100

The website lists painting and sculpture, which points to an art practice more than a contracting service. There are no reviews, so there is nothing to confirm service quality or fit for a painting job.

• Website lists painting and sculpture
• Some verification credit

Watch out: No reviews at all, and it may not offer contractor painting.

Services: interior painting

score 21/100

This listing has no reviews and no sentiment data, so the score rests on basic listing completeness. It may be fine, but nothing here lets us say so. Ask for references and photos of past work before booking.

• Listed as a painting business in New London

Watch out: No reviews and no verification.

Services: interior painting, exterior painting, licensed insured, commercial painting

score 21/100

No reviews are on file, so the score is a placeholder. The name suggests general maintenance, so confirm that painting is something it does. Use the listing as a starting point only.

• Local maintenance business listing

Watch out: No reviews, no verification, and unclear painting scope.

Services: interior painting

The listing is sparse, with no reviews and little profile detail, which is why the score is the lowest here. Painters with a track record are a safer bet. If you call, ask for references and proof of insurance.
