Best painters in Shelton

★★★★★5 (45 reviews)score 88/100

The only business here with a high-confidence score: a 5.0 rating across 45 Google reviews, with recent activity. Reviewers describe a crew that shows up on time, preps carefully and keeps the site clean. It also covers more than paint, including hardwood floors, cabinets and drywall repair.

• Owner Paulo manages projects and communication himself
• Interior, exterior, cabinets, floors and repairs from one contractor
• Sends daily photos and progress reports to remote clients
• Fair pricing and repeat customers noted in reviews

Services: pressure washing, wallpaper installation, cabinet refinishing, exterior painting

★★★★★5 (6 reviews)score 74/100

A perfect 5.0 from 6 reviews, so the evidence is solid but thin, and the confidence is medium. Reviewers highlight clear communication, respect for the home and spotless cleanup. It handles both residential and commercial work.

• Owner Michael personally handles jobs
• Communicates from start to finish

Watch out: Only 6 reviews, and recency is weaker than the top pick.

Services: wallpaper installation, cabinet refinishing, exterior painting, interior painting

★★★★★5 (12 reviews)score 72/100

All 12 reviews are five-star, and reviewers single out punctuality and finishing within the quoted timeline. Prep, patching and carpentry-style repairs come up often, along with detailed trim and vanity painting. Confidence is low because the review count is still modest.

• On-time starts and completion
• Skilled at prep, patching and repairs
• Fair pricing
• Offers color and design suggestions

Watch out: Sample is small and reviews are not very recent.

Services: exterior painting, interior painting, licensed insured, commercial painting

★★★★★5 (2 reviews)score 58/100

Two Google ratings, both five stars, with no written feedback, so there is little to judge quality on. The listing says it has operated since 2007 and serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Treat it as a lead to vet, not a proven pick.

• Operating since 2007
• Serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties

Watch out: Only two ratings and no recent reviews, so ask for references.

Services: interior painting

★★★★★5 (1 reviews)score 49/100

A single five-star review is all the data we have, so the score is low confidence. The name points to painting and power washing, which suits exterior refresh work. Get quotes and references before hiring.

• Offers painting and power washing
• One five-star Google rating

Watch out: One review and no recent feedback, so quality is unverified.

Services: pressure washing, exterior painting, interior painting, licensed insured

score 25/100

This listing has no Google reviews, so its score rests on profile data alone. Nothing here speaks to workmanship either way. It makes sense only as a business to check out yourself.

• Listed as a licensed and insured home improvement business
• Local Shelton listing

Watch out: No reviews at all, so ask for references and proof of insurance.

Services: interior painting, licensed insured

score 21/100

With no reviews and the thinnest profile of the seven, there is no evidence of quality yet. It sits on the list because it is a Shelton painting company, not because of proven results. Verify before you commit.

• Dedicated painting company
• Local Shelton listing

Watch out: No reviews and limited profile detail.

Services: exterior painting, interior painting, licensed insured, commercial painting
